PRACE provides advanced computing and data management resources for research projects across Europe. Access to these resources requires applicants to go through a structured, multi-stage peer-review process.
Each call for resources can include:

Managing these calls manually or through fragmented systems created operational complexity. PRACE required a web-based platform capable of:

The Cyrex Solution
Dual-Application Architecture for Applicants & Administrators
After structured workshops and collaborative design sessions with PRACE, Cyrex developed two interconnected web applications.
1. Applicant-Facing Platform
The first application was designed for researchers applying to PRACE calls.
This platform enabled users to:

- Submit proposals according to structured workflows

2. Call & Peer Review Management System
The second application was an administrative platform for Peer Review Officers.
This system allowed PRACE to:

- Oversee and curate proposal submissions
By enabling configurable process logic, PRACE gained the flexibility to adapt calls without redeveloping core functionality.
