Mech Arena is a fast-paced PvP mech shooter built on a custom engine for mobile platforms. With real-time combat, weapon customization, matchmaking, and reward systems, the game relies on secure live services and properly validated gameplay logic.

For Plarium, maintaining competitive integrity and player trust required validating:

In high-speed PvP environments, vulnerabilities in combat logic or reward systems can directly impact fairness. Plarium engaged Cyrex to conduct structured white box penetration testing to identify weaknesses before they could be exploited.

Cyrex conducted comprehensive white box penetration testing, reviewing Mech Arena’s internal implementations across both gameplay systems and live services.

This approach allowed our security engineers to analyze trust boundaries, server authority enforcement, and integration points in depth.

Our engagement included evaluation of:
