Senior Security Engineer
Description
CYREX is looking for an experienced Security Engineer to join our growing team. You'll be working directly with AAA game studios and major publishers, conducting penetration tests, vulnerability assessments, and security audits on multiplayer games and live services.
This is a unique opportunity to combine your passion for gaming with your security expertise, working on some of the most anticipated titles in the industry.
About You
You have a deep understanding of network protocols, application security, and reverse engineering. You're passionate about gaming and understand the unique security challenges that multiplayer games face. You're a self-starter who can work independently and communicate complex security issues to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in penetration testing or security engineering
- Strong understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP, UDP, WebSockets)
- Experience with reverse engineering and debugging tools
- Familiarity with game engines (Unreal Engine, Unity) is a plus
- Knowledge of common game hacking techniques and anti-cheat systems
- Relevant certifications (OSCP, CEH, or similar) preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Passion for gaming
